Katrina Newman is a NYC actress (Swain-Thomas Agency), model (STATE Mgmt), and graduate of NYU Tisch School of the Arts with her BFA in Drama.
Katrina has trained and performed on stage through the Atlantic Acting School and Shakespeare in the Square. She then studied film, TV, and VO acting at Stonestreet Studios, where she was featured in multiple projects. She currently stars in a variety of independent films while consistently auditioning for TV and film roles.
Since she is also a trained singer and R&B lover, she’s always eager to work on more projects that incorporate these skills. Katrina brings authenticity to every project she is a part of, and hopes that this site can capture even a smidge of that energy for you all.
She couldn’t dream of going to NYU for any major other than Drama. The training she gained throughout her time spent at Atlantic and Stonestreet taught her how to be a prepared, working actor. But only her experiences with self-tape sessions, memorization rituals, and distinctive script breakdowns could make her into the performer she is today!
